With that in mind, we are pleased to offer the Dominion Diversity Scholarship Program. This program is open to students enrolled full-time in a field of study mutually beneficial to the company and the individual. This program assists students in achieving their fullest potential by providing a $5,000 scholarship and a paid summer internship. These paid internships allow students to develop their skills by working side-by-side with our professionals, learning new skills and sampling new technologies involved in the energy industry. Requirements
All applicants must currently have a 3.0 GPA or above on a 4.0 scale.
All applicants must be enrolled/registered as a full-time student for the current academic year at an accredited 4-year college or university.
At the time of applying, applicants must be either a college freshman or sophomore.
Acceptance of a scholarship requires that the applicant commit to a paid 10-12 week intern work session during the summer. This work session is contingent upon satisfactory completion of normal pre-employment requirements.
Scholarship awards will be subject to the receipt of the applicant’s final grades for the current school year and satisfactory completion of the summer work session.
Applications must be postmarked by December 1 (late applications will not be processed). All applications will be reviewed by a panel, and the panel will conduct interviews for selected candidates.
