Jackson Davis Elem. After School Enrichment Opportunity
August 7th, 2008- Need someone to teach 6 hour long classes on drawing. The person could make there own plans for the class and decide what would be covered. I was thinking they could do drawing with different mediums, but especially focus on pencil drawing. Second, someone to teach a beading/jewelry making class for the same 6 hour long classes. AGain the person would have complete planning autonomy. I was thinking they'd start small with earrings or bracelets and work up??? The classes would be at Jackson Davis Elementary School on Nesstlewood Rd, off of Fordson Rd, near Parham and 64 in the West End. They will begin Oct. 14 and go through Nov. 25 and are from 2:15 to 3:15 every Tues. afternoon. Typically, folks who do this are not out to make tons of money. They will charge $50 to $60 for the entire 6 weeks -- mainly to cover supplies and gas! Your students can also determine how many kids they'd like to have in the class.
