Old House Authority Window Restoration is looking for someone who is willing to work hands-on with restoring wooden windows ranging from early 19th through 20th century double-hung windows, making wooden and epoxy repairs, operating a steam box to remove paint and glazing compounds, light painting and application of modern weather-striping for energy efficiency.
This is a new start-up organization that completely restores antique wooden sash and makes them energy efficient with state-of-the-art materials. Much of this work is for buildings complying with state and Federal tax credits.
Salary, hours, and compensation are negotiable and can be flexible.
This is an ongoing employment opportunity or the end-date can be negotiated.
The start date is immediate.
