- Old House Authority Window Restoration is looking for someone who is willing to work hands-on with restoring wooden windows ranging from early 19th through 20th century double-hung windows, making wooden and epoxy repairs, operating a steam box to remove paint and glazing compounds, light painting and application of modern weather-striping for energy efficiency. This is a new start-up organization that completely restores antique wooden sash and makes them energy efficient with state-of-the-art materials. Much of this work is for buildings complying with state and Federal tax credits. Salary, hours, and compensation are negotiable and can be flexible.
