Volunteers Needed for Art Exhibition in Richmond, VA

Seeking students majoring in fine arts and art history to help with the behind-the-scenes activities that can make MAE (Minority Art Exhibition) a true success. A variety of short-term and long-term volunteer opportunities are available including: Art Handlers/Installers, Tour Guides, Hosts, and Event Coordinators. This will be a great opportunity to utilize your skills in leadership, project management, exhibition design, and art administration.

MAE – Minority Art Exhibition, is pioneering art exhibition that will showcase works created by African American and Latin American artists, while seeking sponsorships for artists to pursue their creative impulses freely.
The event will take place: Thursday, August 20th at Metro Space Gallery in Richmond’s Downtown.

All who are interested must submit their resume and desired task via email no later than July 31, 2009.
