The Diablo Valley Film Festival is now taking submissions from student film makers for their September 11th event.
Information
The Diablo Valley Film Festival exists to promote film that would not be otherwise seen commercially by the public. The Diablo Valley Film Festival celebrates the independent spirit of cinema. The festival offers a screening venue for upcoming and established filmmakers from around the globe. The festival presents all genres of films including narrative features, shorts, music videos and documentaries with an emphasis on innovative storytelling, creative technical expertise and experimental approach.
The festival is centered in historic downtown Martinez, California.
Requirements
Submission deadline: June 30th
Student films include can include features or shorts of any genre. Students must be enrolled in an accredited school at the the time of production completion and must provide proof of enrollment. Students category is limited to those filmmakers under the age of 21 years old. Proof of age must accompany submission. Student must be either the producer and/or director on project.
