The Glimpse Correspondence Program- Accepting Applications Now!

Powered by Matador, and supported in part by the National Geographic Society, the Glimpse Correspondents Program provides talented writers and photographers between the ages of 18-36 with a $600 stipend as well as one on one editorial training and support to complete an independent journalistic work based on their experience abroad. The program is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 36 who will be working, volunteering, or studying outside of their home country for at least 10 weeks.

Eligibility Requirements
* To qualify for the Correspondents Program, you must be living abroad for at least 10 weeks during the spring or fall
* Must be between the ages of 18 and 36
* Must have regular access to email while abroad, and be willing to commit to a professional editorial process
* The Correspondents Program is open to both U.S. and non-U.S. citizens
Application Requirements
* Basic personal information
* Education, work, internship, and volunteer experience
* Details of your upcoming abroad experience
* Statement of interest
* Writing sample (creative nonfiction or fiction)
* Link to an online photo album
* Contact information for two references (letters of reference are NOT required)
* A processing fee
