The MCV Campus Medical Center at VCU is seeking Art Installation Project Volunteers.
Information
The Medical Center displays original artworks in its facilities as part of its Arts in Healthcare program. Eleven new works have been recently acquired and are in need of secure installation. This will be a short-term project, scheduled for completion by October 11, 2008. Volunteers will have the opportunity to learn about the role of the arts in healthcare and may use their participation in this installation project as a resume-builder.
Requirements
Volunteers must have prior experience handling and installing original artwork. Majors in art, art history, art education and museum studies are preferred; other qualified persons are also welcome to apply. Please submit a brief letter of interest describing your prior experience in art and/or exhibition installation to:
