Teachers Needed for Summer Arts Program at VCU

Apply to be a teacher for the Summer Arts Program at VCU.
Information
VCU Art Ed is planning a summer arts program for children in grades K-9. The program will run for two weeks from July 27- August 7, Monday through Friday from 9am - 2pm. We are looking for prospective teachers to teach lessons appropriate for grades K-2, 3-5, 6-7, and 8-9. We are looking for lessons involving clay, painting, drawing, sculpture, fibers, computer arts and any other unique ideas that you would like to submit. Please include a supply list. Teachers will be compensated $10 - $15 an hour depending on teaching experience.
Requirements
All interested undergrad students must meet the requirements for admission to ARTE 401/402, must be currently enrolled, or have already completed the class in order to be eligible to apply to this program. Graduate student eligibility will be determined case by case.
Applications and lesson plans must be submitted no later than March 1st. Applications are available in the Art Ed office in Franklin Terrace and are also attached. We prefer that applications and lessons be submitted in hard copy to the mailbox labeled Taaffe in the Art Ed office.
