The 2010 Newport Beach Film Festival will present over 350 films from around the world. Blending the best of classic and contemporary filmmaking,the Newport Beach Film Festival is proud to showcase an exclusive selection of award winning independent and studio films representing a truly unique mix of culture and genre. We invite you to be part of this exciting cinematic adventure that attracted more than 52,000 film devotees in 2009.

The film festival will be held from April 22, 2010- April 29, 2010

Requirements

Deadlines and fees:
Earlybird Deadline: October 23, 2009 Feature $35 Short $30
Thanksgiving Special Deadline: November 20, 2009 Feature $45 Short $40
Deadline for Entries: December 18, 2009 Feature $55 Short $45
Final Deadline: January 25, 2010 Feature $75 Short $60

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
- Films must have a completion date of January 1, 2008 or later.
- Acceptable exhibition formats are:
Features- 35 mm, Digibeta or HDcam (Non-SR)
Shorts- Digibeta, BetaSp, MiniDV, or DVCam (NTSC only)
- All non- English language films must have legible English language subtitles.
- The film must not have been viewed on the internet or national broadcast, cable or satellite television prior to the Festival screening.
- Films accepted into the Festival must arrive with shipping and customs duties or taxes pre-paid
- If submitting multiple entries, each film must be submitted on a separate disc.
- May submit through www.withoutabox.com or submit a completed paper version.

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:
- Two DVD Screeners (NTSC only). These are not returned.
- A minimum of one still from the film (color preferred, black and white accepted). Digital stills and press kits are preferred. Stills must be 300 dpi and at least 2″x4″ in size. They must be an actual shot from the film. No posed shots will be accepted. You may email stills to submissions@newportbeachfilmfest.com or upload them on withoutabox. Be sure to activate you press kit on withoutabox.
- Full cast/crew list
- Film synopsis- 120 word logline/ synopsisof the film and a 20 word logline/synopsis of the film.
- Payment- if not paid through withoutabox
