Call for Directors
July 8th, 2008- Bailiwick's Second Sex Series in Chicago seeks proposals from directors for the 2008-2009 season that "give women prominence."
- The second sex series will consist of a 45 day festival in the studio theater in March and April 2009 featuring 2 prime time selections running in rep, a late night show on Saturdays and Sunday, and select special events of music, readings, etc.
- nterested directors should email with "DIRECTOR PROPOSAL" in the subject line and the following in the body: - Director Name, Email, Phone - Title of Play/Project & Playwright/Author - Genre(s) - Approximate Running Time - Is this project best suited for a full run or a special event? - Cast Breakdown (Women, Men, Trans, Unspecified, etc) - Short Synopsis (1 paragraph) - Briefly (1 paragraph) describe the connection to the series.
